I’ve been trying to make a forum to share what’s in my head for a while. Truthfully, putting what I’m thinking about out there some how makes me less aggro, and less scared in an increasingly fascist world.
But something has unclicked in me lately, a need to share something. I usually work out my complicated feelings alongside some researched topic in poetry, some of which I hope you will see here as well. I see writing in terms of film, I see the scenes in my mind, progressing like a film would, and I have often interspersed text and image. I hope to be a grounded ancestor, someone with a knowledge that I have been as wild as I wanted to and also always wanted to be in tune with the land I live on, and the people around me. But I have always had a reflective side, probably too analytical and concerned with justice and leveling power to be as present and grounded as I would like to be.
I hope to explore all the worlds that matter to me, to uplift writers and makers and DJs and skate culture figures and community events and herbalists and and and uphold some kind of one-day-at-a-time psychogeography sky. To uplift those projects that have a holographic conception of what resistance can look like, what care can look like, what queers can look like, what community can look like, and yes, we don’t have to be perfect, we can be a little messy and sulky and yes angry.
My life is a life of full notebooks, of the reading with others and dancing and skating and just vibing that made my life so much more balanced now....
